Why Shupaca Wholesale?

We specialize in Alpaca fiber! Alpaca is an eco-friendly material that is soft, light, and amazingly warm with its naturally insulating core. Shupaca offers high quality designs and unique products that your customers will love! We are a family owned, dedicated brand with a focus on making a difference!

Alpaca is quickly becoming one of the world’s most renowned sustainable & eco-friendly fibers. The alpacas are sheared once a year in spring and the fiber is spun into yarn. Alpacas are also known to be "eco-friendly" animals by nature due to their mannerisms and small footprint on mother-nature. Alpaca fur is a naturally organic fiber requiring no mechanical or chemical processing, better for you, better for everyone.

Fair Trade

Shupaca products are crafted by ten different groups of artisans which comprise over 100 people within the indigenous communities of the Andes Mountain Region of Peru. Shupaca is committed to supporting the social and economic advancement for the artisans & their families in these small communities through fair wages and direct incentives.

Make a difference, grow your business!

Shupaca is the brainchild of husband and wife tandem, Andrew and Lori Schuster. Travelling off-the beaten track in Ecuador brought about an unexpected immersion to the vibrant socio-cultural heritage of South America, and the discovery of an extraordinary fabric called, Alpaca. Forming a brand that combines their environment-conscious minds and their dedication to fair trade and responsible business practices, Shupaca combines the couple’s surname and their esteemed product of choice, Alpaca fur.
